- 1 stick of butter
- 1 package yellow cake mix (with pudding)
- 1 egg
- 3 cups of mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of peanut butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 cups of Rice Krispies cereal
- 2 cups of salted peanuts, or honey roasted
- 1 cup of candy corn
Step-by-Step Instructions
For the crust:
- Heat oven to 350 degrees
- Combine the butter, cake mix and egg until well mixed
- Press into the bottom of an ungreased 9×13 pan
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until set and golden brown
- Add marshmallows to the top of the crust and bake for 2 minutes until puffed, or broil for added flavor.


For the topping:
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the corn syrup, sugar and brown sugar until the mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat.
- Add the peanut butter and vanilla, stir until smooth.
- Add the cereal, peanuts, and candy corn – switch to a heavy duty spoon for mixing.
- Spoon over the marshmallow layer and spread to cover.
- Cool completely before cutting.
